Rodriguez scored both goals inside 32 minutes, and Angel Di Maria also scored in the first half for Argentina. Carlos Tevez and Sergio Aguero scored in the second half.

Argentine star Lionel Messi was rested by coach Diego Maradona.

Argentina opens the World Cup June 12 against Nigeria. Greece and South Korea are also in Group B.

In London, Ledley King, Peter Crouch and Glen Johnson scored as England topped Mexico 3-1 at Wembley. Guillermo Franco scored for Mexico.

In other games involving World Cup teams Monday, Siyabonga Sangweni scored as South Africa tied Bulgaria 1-1, Park Ji Sung and Chu Young Park scored as South Korea beat Japan 2-0, Dario Vidosic and Brett Holman scored as Australia beat New Zealand 2-1, and Portugal tied Cape Verde 0-0.

Who is to say independently produced Little Miss Sunshine won't be this year's Crash.  Last year, Crash won for Best Motion Picture, shocking those who bet on gay cowboy flick, Brokeback Mountain, as the favorite to win.
