06/04/2010 - Arlington, TX (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The Tampa Bay Rays have reinstated catcher Kelly Shoppach from the 15-day disabled list.

Shoppach had been sidelined since April 11, undergoing surgery April 19 to repair the meniscus in his right knee.

The 30-year-old had played in only four games for the Rays before his last appearance on April 10, and had collected two hits in eight at-bats.

Shoppach went 4-for-13 in four games during a rehabilitation assignment earlier this week with Triple-A Durham.

Over parts of the previous five seasons with the Boston Red Sox and Cleveland Indians, Shoppach hit .241 with 43 home runs and 141 RBI.
